Chiropractors are trained to detect areas in the spine that are restricted and are lacking proper movement. When areas of the spine are restricted, muscles become tense, inflammation develops and ultimately pain occurs.

Our goal as Chiropractors is to restore the motion and flexibility in the spine through the use of chiropractic adjustments. These chiropractic adjustments help eliminate the cascade of events that occur when the spine is lacking proper movement.

Chiropractic care is not only used when aches and pains occur, as many people choose to visit their chiropractor on a monthly basis. Monthly appointments allow us to counteract the daily stresses put on the body, and helps us prevent pain that develops from restricted motion

The light source is placed in contact with the skin allowing the photon energy to penetrate tissue, where it interacts with various intracellular biomolecules resulting in the restoration of normal cell function and enhancement of the body’s healing processes.

My passion is helping people feel, move, and perform their best. I work with clients dealing with daily aches and pains to individuals recovering from major injuries — to help them live with less pain, return to sport, and get back to the activities they love. I particularly enjoy working with active individuals and helping them bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. I use an evidence-driven approach that combines the latest scientific research and clinical experience, going beyond symptom management to address movement, nutrition, and lifestyle factors. Because no single approach works for everyone, I have trained in a variety of methods that allow me to tailor treatment to each individual for the most effective results. Since graduating from physical therapy, I have completed advanced training in manual therapy (soft tissue work, joint mobilization and manipulation), strength and conditioning, and nutrition (Precision Nutrition Coach). In addition, I am credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method), trained in Neurofunctional Acupuncture through McMaster University, and qualified to assess and treat concussions through Complete Concussion Management — the gold standard in concussion care. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from McGill University, and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from McGill. During my university years, I played Varsity lacrosse, which gave me firsthand insight into the demands of sport and continues to shape my approach to helping athletes and active individuals recover and perform at their best. What You Can Expect Working With Me: • Professional and Friendly Service • High-Quality Evidence-Driven Treatment • Collaboration with Other Professionals

I grew up just outside of Ingleside, and from a young age, I dreamed of becoming a physiotherapist. My passion for exercise, sports, and the human body naturally guided me toward a profession focused on improving quality of life. Physiotherapy, with its ability to help individuals manage both chronic and acute pain, felt like the perfect fit.

My educational journey began at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. I earned my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences and a minor in Chemistry in 2021. I then pursued my Master of Science in Physiotherapy at King’s College London in London, England, graduating in September 2023. Since finishing my MSc, I continue to complete courses provided by the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, including Non-Internal Introductory Pelvic Health Course and Non-Internal Treatment Considerations for Pregnant and Postpartum Population. I am committed to lifelong learning to stay up to date with evidenced-based practice and expanding my skills.

Throughout my career, my priority is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for every client. Through the use of a holistic mindset, I aim to collaboratively develop patient-centered goals and ultimately turn them into function through education, exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.

Outside of work, you can often find me traveling to different countries, on the golf course, experimenting with intricate recipes in the kitchen, or enjoying quality time with friends and family.

I am excited to serve Cornwall and the surrounding communities and would be happy to discuss how I can support your rehabilitation journey. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or to book a consultation.
